I'm Av Mendelsohn and welcome to my website.

As with life, an image may be perceived through the same lens many different ways. I have practiced forensic psychology for most of my life and I believe that my photography reflects the way in which I interpret my environment. I carefully search for a subject that displays both the beauty and subleties of nature.

Focusing on landscapes, nature and abstract images, I have shown my work in several Midwest galleries for over 30 years. Recently, I have relocated to Southern Arizona and have become enchanted with the Sonoran Desert and America's Southwest.
